East Rockaway Junior-Senior High School’s National Junior Honor Society members collected books for Big Brothers Big Sisters Long Island throughout the month of November.
Although every member of the club was encouraged to bring in at least one book each, the collection was open to the entire school, faculty and staff. National Junior Honor Society adviser Alexandra Mendyk expressed her gratitude to all those who donated books, making it the group’s largest collection yet.
